Not generally considered when we think of the Southwest, the low country grasslands of the Texas coast are some of my favorite recreational areas for fishing, crabbing and bird watching. These coastal areas have lots of protected recreational parks that are a joy to behold. This painting was done at high tide off the intracoastal waterway near Port Aransas, TX.
