Rocks and cactus have always intrigued me and while traveling west and north of DFW, I find many opportunities to gather photo reference for this subject. This location was just outside Mineral Wells, Texas. The ability the prickly pear cactus has to hang on to rocks where you would think they can’t grow, is simply amazing!
