Oil Birds by Steve Miller

South of Dallas, not far from Corsicana, is a location my wife and I frequent often to shoot photos of wildlife. This place is a wildlife management area and we have seen many interesting things. Also present are these pump jacks, or as some call them, “Oil Birds”. While I was shooting photos for a painting, Great White Egrets flew by, as if to “photo bomb” my shot. I thought is pretty cool and worked out this composition with both birds, and an “Oil Bird”.
