'Twas the day before Christmas

‘Twas the day before Christmas when all through the Gallery
the associates were bustling, even the framers;
The frames were hung on the wall with care,
In hopes that customers soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of custom framed fine art danced in their heads;
And Pam got dressed in her holiday best,
To prepare for a great day of last minute guests.

When out on the parking lot there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the counter to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the front doors and threw up the sash.
The sun beaming through the open front doors
Gave a lustre of midday to the art and decór,
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
People rushed in for the miniature works and art with reindeer,
With holiday shoppers full of holiday cheer,
I knew they desired something valuable and dear.
More rapid than eagles the customers they came,
And they whistled, and shouted, and called Artists by name:
