I live in the city of Dallas. “This Little Chickie” is my neighbor, and gets out of its chicken coop often. One early morning as I was out walking, this chicken strutted in front of me, crossing the street with attitude. I took a quick photo and decided to paint this chick in the studio with a palette knife. When I look at this painting, I always think of my morning neighborhood walks.
