I normally paint totally abstract so to paint landscapes even in abstract form was definitely different for me. When I was painting this piece, I wanted the sun to be somewhat noticeable while keeping the rest as abstract as possible. As an artist, I want you to have a painting of a sunrise without painting a sunrise. That’s how my brush flows. Enjoy!
