Having lived in Texas all my life it’s not often that I have the opportunity to paint snow. This painting was inspired by a winter trip to Yellowstone. It was my first time on snowshoes, and after sinking in the snow several times, I decided it would be much more fun to paint this beautiful path than proceed any further.
