From Granbury, Texas

Although formally trained with an art degree from Abilene Christian University plus a scholarship year at the Brooklyn Museum Art School in New York City, it is in my personal studies where I make my greatest strides. I attend art workshops, read art books and magazines, and watch art DVDs; but it is the “Brush Time”, the actual painting time that produces the leaps of understanding.

I love to paint outdoors especially in the spring and fall in the areas around Granbury and Glen Rose Texas. As a member of the Artist of Texas, the Lake Granbury Art Association and Outdoor Painters Society, I have taken advantage of the many opportunities to enter art shows, take workshop, go on paint outs, and especially enjoy the inspiring interchange of ideas of fellow artist.
