Losing the Tide at Last Light by Sharon Hodges
Original Oil on Cradleboard
Years ago, I owned a home on the Intercoastal Waterway, fronting Murrell’s Inlet, SC……the marshes there are fantastic, offering endless opportunity for exploration in a small boat, as long as you possess local knowledge of the infinite twists and turns that render the uninitiated lost without cell service. I shot this photo one evening on a waning tide, sun dying, storm approaching. I often go back there, and wait for the storms.
