The assembling of delicate flowers and shells reveal the fragility in much of nature. They can withstand the strength of wind and seas and never lose their God given beauty. All my paintings are created in the archival and timeless methods known as Indirect Painting. This method requires careful drawing, and under-paintings before layering in multi layers of transparent glazes and scumbles. Typically, I glaze and scumble in excess of 12 layers of glazes and scumbles. The Mona Lisa has in excess of 20.
