The Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Arizona is a favorite hiking location for my husband and I. The scrubby landscape and massive cactus are amazing…and amazing to paint. I like to use my palette knife to create texture and depth when painting the desert scene. Capturing the colors of the desert….a favorite subject of mine to paint!
