Long tailed tits are comically small and round, with an accompanying tail that seems to be the proportions of a child’s impression of a bird. Anthracite is a term applied to coal with a shiny luster. When burned, this unique variety of coal burns quickly with a smokeless blue flame which inspired the backdrop of this drawing.
