-VIEW SHOW-

FIRST PLACE
Low Tide by Katherine Martinez | 6×8 | Oil on Panel | SOLD

From the Artist:
When I find myself caught in the turbulent seas of life, I think back to this memory when I found safety and love amidst the tide.

SECOND PLACE
A Mother’s Love by Cecy Turner | 20×30 | Oil on Canvas

From the Artist:
I couldn’t wait to try to capture the warm feeling of unconditional love between this mother deer and her baby when I saw them right above our driveway at our second home in Estes Park, Colorado. I changed the background to fall aspens and also warmed up the sky color to try to capture the feeling I wanted in the painting.

THIRD PLACE
Lean In by Patsy Lindamood | 16×20 | Graphite on Cradled Clayboard

From the Artist:
There are so many kinds of love and the love of cousins for one another can be a really special bond. These two young girls were espied taking a break together from all the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations. For them, in that moment, nothing could be more important than the contents of one small screen they were sharing. Something about the way they leaned into one another spoke volumes about the special kind of love only cousins can share. While all the adults around them were running hither and thither trying to fix makeup and hair, adjust dresses and other garments, they just leaned into one another to share a special moment of togetherness.
