SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH | 10am-2pm
Drop in any time between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, September 16th to visit with Laurie Huff as she shares her inspiration and painting process that abstracts nature and the landscape.
Pablo Picasso said, “There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterward, you can remove all traces of reality.”
Laurie will use photographs, memories, and personal expression to create both a non-objective abstract and an abstracted landscape using the same inspiration. This is a mixed media process which includes layers of collage, acrylic, oil and cold wax along with a variety of drawing media.
