I was attracted to the gesture/body language of this bison as he was turning to look back. The silhouette was both recognizable and unusual. The addition of the distant mountain range added depth as well as emphasizing the cruciform composition. I love wide open spaces and horizons and included both along with bright orange line work around the silhouette to add more interest and zing.
