Raccoon Mountain Spring is a scenic view of Raccoon Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is located in the Cumberland Plateau, which is in southern part of the Appalachian Plateau /Mountains of the United States. It includes much of Eastern Kentucky, Tennessee, and portions of northern Alabama and Northwest Georgia. Springtime, is pretty in the mountains with the redbuds and dogwoods are blooming. I like working with a limited, palette because it challenges you to think about values and color combinations that can be achieved, using fewer tube colors.
