I had my palette knife in hand, making “land bars” (a studio term that we made up) with beautiful blues, greens, peaches and lavenders. This contemporary abstract was painted during the Covid19 pandemic, and I was feeling like there were many boundaries put on me to stay at home. My son, Blake titled it for me, saying he gets good vibes from looking at it. I do hope that the viewer does the same when looking at “Good Vibes”.
