“Color Conversation” is all about mixing harmonious and beautiful colors, with some abstracted florals as my subject matter. I was painting in the studio, looking at a fresh bouquet of petals and I thought that I would explore the possibility of changing it all up. The floral still life was just a starting point. I used brushes, palette knives, and clay tools to apply the thick juicy oils, creating a visually pleasing composition. I hope that the viewer enjoys looking at this painting….I loved painting it!
