Bluebonnets, Oak trees and cactus…. some of my favorite things about Texas and I never get tired of or bored painting them. I used a loose and spontaneous technique to block in this painting, created entirely from imagination. As the painting progressed I added only necessary details to balance variety and harmony within the painting.
