DeLeon, Robert

A self-taught artist originally from Texas, artist Robert DeLeon currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he finds inspiration in the surrounding landscape working in the traditional style of the Taos artists from the 1800s. Robert was recently (2020) elected into the prestigious Salmagundi Art Club in New York City. Founded in 1871, it is America’s oldest art club. He is also one of several artists who took part in the 16-month restoration of the ceiling of Santa Fe’s Saint Francis Cathedral.
