Gonzalez, Arturo

The figurative artist Arturo Murga Gonzalez was born and raised in Cadereyta Jimenez N.L. Mexico July 8, 1975. He began painting in his hometown at the age of nine. He studied Graphic Design and is primarily self-taught in painting with oil and acrylic. He works in collaboration with the fishing industry and is currently a Creative Illustrator for Bassmaster Magazine. Influenced by both the outdoors and his Mexican heritage, he specializes in portraiture (many on a large scale).

A representational figurative painter, Arturo is influenced by outdoor life and the abstraction of the urban environment. He specializes in custom portraits and paintings.
