Devereaux, Carol

Carol Williams Devereaux (b.1958) originally from Memphis, Tennessee, is a figurative and landscape painter living in Dallas, Texas. Her preferred mediums are oil and pastel, she enjoys working from life and “en plein air” finding inspiration in the patterns of light touching and defining form. Carol is widely travelled, her studio work is often based on the memories and experiences from the various places she has had the opportunity to visit. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Mississippi and has continued her art education with classes, workshops and conferences nationally and abroad. Locally she has studied with Michael Mentler, Ellen Soderquist, Michael O’Keefe, and Suzanne Kelley Clark.
