“Golden Blooms” is a colorful and free-flowing contemporary floral piece that I created in the studio. I cut some blooms off of my husband’s cactus, and also used a couple of reference photos for my inspiration. Painting on top of gold leaf was a first for me, and gives this canvas a unique appearance.
