Saturday, March 23rd | Noon to 4pm

Come visit with native Texas artist, Tina Bohlman, in our informal setting. Ask questions or just watch her work. Drop by anytime between Noon and 4pm. Mostly, self-taught, Tina works primarily in watercolor and occasionally oil to create her breathtaking plein air paintings and brilliant rural landscapes.

From Tina:
“Approximately 70% of my paintings are created on location. I love being outdoors and the rural landscape is my main source for subject matter. Working from life has always been a part of my creative process. With few exceptions, my sources for inspiration in the studio are my plein air studies. Experience and strong technical skills are essential when painting en plein air; as the light changes and shadows shift; every stroke must be without hesitation to capture that moment in time.  It’s a marathon race with the sun – spirited, emotional, exhausting….and I love it!”
