As we work through this pandemic, and social distancing, I ventured out to White Rock Lake with my painting friend, Susan Moss Cooper. We set up early one morning (before the heat, humidity and bugs). We found a great spot, high in Lake Highlands, overlooking the grounds, the lake and the spectacular down town skyline in the background. With a limited palette of three colors, one palette knife and a great morning, this painting was created en plein air.
