Pomegranate Reflections By Beverly Richmond

Original Oil on Linen Panel

14×11 Unframed

Caravaggio and Rembrandt used chiaroscuro (the strong contrast between dark and light areas) to create drama in their paintings. I have used that same technique in this painting.

Beverly Richmond was born in a small northeast Texas town. She attended North Texas State as a medical technology major and graduated from the St. Paul School of Medical Technology in Dallas.

In 2001 she graduated from the Liliedahl School of Classical Oil Painting and was certified to teach by that school in 2003. She continues her study of painting utilizing workshops, DVDs and books.

Beverly has been honored to receive several awards for her paintings and has works in private collections in several states. She is a member of Oil Painters Of America, Portrait Society Of America, Trinity Art Guild, and Grapevine Art Project.
