Born in Dallas, Texas, Charice has been creating art since she was old enough to hold a paintbrush. When she wasn’t painting, she was occupied with her menagerie of pets which often became the subjects of her art. Both art and animals were an integral part of her whole quality of life.
While countless hours were spent engaged in these passions, she also invested her time in various forms of dance. At age 10 she began studying dance and went on to attend a school for the talented and gifted in the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas. In 1999, after years spent in the corporate environment, Charice’s passion for art began to resurface. By the spring of 2000, she had started her own business painting full-time, and quickly established herself as a premier animal and wildlife artist.
“I love what I do and feel blessed that my job and passion are one in the same. Animals have always held a special place in my heart and capturing their essence through the instruments of my craft is my ultimate purpose.” said Charice.
Her award winning art and prints grace gallery walls, corporate businesses, residential homes and private collections both in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and abroad. Charice calls Fort Worth, TX home with her husband and two daughters, along with 2 rescued dogs and a horse. She enjoys continued exploration of her craft and finds great fulfillment in contributing to both humanitarian and animal philanthropies through her work.
