Known for its rich baseball history, Chicago has some of the most dedicated fans in the country. Over time, stadiums change and get updated, but baseball fans maintain fond memories of their favorite team’s ballparks. Comiskey Park was the home of the White Sox for most of the 20th Century capturing many decades of America’s favorite past time.

Original Acrylic on Canvas & Watercolor/Ink Artist, specializing in impressionism and abstract art.

Growing up north of Dallas, my family would regularly vacation in the Tetons and Jackson Hole, WY. This became a central subject of my early artwork. After moving to the Idaho side of the Tetons, I started my own family which allowed me to live in this beautiful part of the country surrounded by some of the most photographed/painted landscapes in the country.

Ever since I can remember, artwork played a huge role in filling my free-time. Painting allows me to explore new perspectives, capture a time that I’d like to revisit, or express inner emotions. For many years, life and a young family drew me away from my passion. However, after getting through some difficult personal times, I have rekindled that love for art as a means of personal satisfaction and the joy it brings to others.

Acrylic on canvas has always been my preferred medium. I would often do small ink sketches painted with watercolor as a rough draft for the larger acrylic painting. As friends and family saw these watercolor sketches, many would request them as a final piece. They would send me photos of recent vacations, and I would capture their moments in original watercolor pieces of artwork that they could display to relive those memories each time they viewed the piece.

Between my landscapes, architecture, umbrella girls, and other subjects, I hope you find something you fall in love with or have a new idea for me. Aside from the originals, nearly all pieces are also offered as artist remakes of the works you love, so please contact me if you would like your own original painting!

“Painting is easy when you don’t know how, but very difficult when you do.” – Edgar Degas
