“Beneath The Texas Skies” are just some lyrics to a Texas Hill Country Theme Song that was originally produced by Arthur Fieldler and the Boston Pops which was used for TV Special “Lyndon Johnson’s Texas”. The song was also used as the opening theme song for “Bob Phillips 4 Country Reporter” throughout the 1970’s and 80’s. Willie Nelson also recorded and put words to this song on an album titled “Texas In My Soul” in 1968. The scene in the painting is from the famous Willow City Loop which is located north of Fredericksburg, Texas. Enjoy this spring view of Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes along this country road.
