Landscapes in oil unique to the Texas Hill Country

Steve Hahn has had a long-time, family association with the Texas Hill Country. The rugged terrain is filled with iconic images of German settlements, ranching and its diverse landscape. Spring-fed creeks emerging from rock formations, cactus-covered grasslands spotted with Live Oak trees, wildflowers, historic limestone buildings, and the changing seasons are the palette for his oil paintings.

Steve was raised in Dallas, Texas where he resides and graduated with a BFA from SMU. He worked as a graphic designer and art director for over 30 years. Now retired, his artistic pursuits are inspired by his love for the natural beauty of the Hill Country. Not only does Steve’s paintings appear in The Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, but he provides paintings on a commission basis.
