Fresh Off The Easel

Ann has a BA degree in art from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and has worked with an interior design firm and also a tour destination management company.

She painted for a number of years working with interior decorators and selling her work through the Dallas Decorative Center and museum shows throughout Texas.

Painting exclusively in oils, there are so many subjects that interest her, from a still life to figurative work, and most recently painting en plein air.

Continuing to learn and take workshops is an ongoing goal, having recently studied with Calvin Liang, Carolyn Anderson and Qiang Huang. Current project that Ann is working on is a series of dog portraits, called the “bark” collection.
